This has to be my favorite wallet I've owned to far - Michael Kors. It's the perfect pop of color! A Vera Bradley bag to hold all the small accessories together. A few cosmetics - the best hand cream for the harsh, dry winter months, concealer, chapstick and lipgloss. A measuring tape, because you never know when you'll need one! Pocket mirror, pill case to hold a few Advil for those afternoon headaches or caffeine withdrawals. The necessities of tissues and hand sanitizer. I've had the unfortunate experience of running into too much restaurant restrooms where you have to touch the handle on your way out with no trash bin in sight. Bath and Body Works hand sanitizer comes in handy! Altoids smalls for continuous fresh breath on the go. Last but not least, my favorite Ray-Ban sunglasses!

Short & Sweet - A Look Inside My Bag
Any time we go on a vacation, the one magazine I have in tow is US Weekly. I love all their cover stories, articles, and highlight sections. One of my favorites each month is to see who they have dumping their purse open for the world to see. Even though it was hard to dump out my oh so organized purse, I did it so you can see what I feel are the essentials for every day!

The Best of...@mkwisker Instagram
I'm a sucker for pictures! It seems like no matter what I'm doing, I have to take a picture to document that moment. How else are you supposed to remember what happened??? 30 years from now my memory won't be this sharp and I'll appreciate all these captured moments. Chris may moan and groan a little when I take 30 pictures of us on the same day of vacation, but it's worth it to look back and remember what a great time we had! Instagram is one of my favorite social media sites - it's short and sweet. Post a picture, tag someone, add a few hash tags and it's up! It's the perfect social media site for someone like me who loves to look back and reminisce. Take a few minutes and head over to check out my photos!
Top row: Me sitting on the glass ledge at the Willis Tower, the beautiful Swarovski neckless and earring set Chris got me for our 2-year anniversary last year, Chris and I at the NY Rangers game in Raleigh.
Middle row: Stunning sunrises here in Blacksburg, Chris and I in Savannah, one of my favorite quotes.
Bottom row: Downtown Nashville last summer for a friend's wedding, Dominican Republic vacation - pure bliss, first try at homemade bread and dipping oils.

15 Ways to be Happier in 2015
With a new year comes new resolutions. Instead of making a list of changes for 2015, I made a list of ways to be happier in the new year. Resolutions don't always get the attention they deserve and are neglected. Months later, they're a list of things you never changed. This list of ways to be happier will be there for me each day throughout 2015 as a constant reminder that every year, even every day, is a fresh start! I hope everyone takes a bit of time to reflect on ways they could be happier this year as well.
2015 sure will be a big one for Chris and I. As he finishes up third year rotations and starts studying for his Step 2 board exam this spring, we will also have to narrow down what field of medicine he wants to pursue and potential locations for residency.
I wish everyone a great and happy new year and remember that each day is a fresh start and to start it off with a smile!
